In Case You Were Wondering…

WHERE ARE YOU BASED, AND DO YOU TRAVEL?

I’m based in Colorado and photograph horse and rider sessions throughout the state. Travel may be included or added depending on your location, so once I know where you and your horse are based, I’ll help you figure out the best option.

What if my horse won’t stand still?

That is completely okay. Horses are not props, and they do not need to act like statues for this to be beautiful. I build every session with patience, flexibility, and room for breaks so we can work with your horse instead of against them.

How clean does my horse need to be?

A clean coat, brushed mane and tail, wiped eyes and nose, and clean tack can make a big difference, but perfection is not the goal. I’ll send prep guidance before your session so you know what to prioritize without feeling overwhelmed.

Do you help with outfits?

Absolutely. I’ll help you think through colors, textures, layers, and pieces that photograph well with your horse, your location, and the overall feeling you want from your session. You do not have to figure it out alone.

Where do sessions take place?

Most sessions can happen at your barn, private property, or an approved outdoor location. Once I know where you and your horse are based, I’ll help you choose a spot with good light, safe footing, and a setting that fits the feeling you want.

How many images will I receive?

Image count depends on your session type, your horse, and the flow of the day. I take a quality-focused approach, so your final gallery will include the strongest fully edited images that tell your story beautifully.

After you inquire, I’ll learn more about you, your horse, what you’re hoping to capture, and where you’re located. From there, I’ll help you choose the session option that fits best.

Part ONE: THE First hello

Once your date is booked with a signed contract and retainer, we’ll start planning the details. We’ll talk through outfits, grooming, location, timing, your horse’s personality, and anything else that will help the session feel smooth.

part TWO: THE game plan

This is where we slow down and let the magic happen. I’ll guide you through posing and direction, but we’ll also leave space for movement, breaks, horse opinions, and the real connection you already have.

part THREE: THE session

After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery filled with carefully edited images. From there, you can download your favorites, share them, and turn them into artwork that lives somewhere better than your phone.
