These two were such a joy to photograph! You can tell just how in love they are. With every glace, hug, and joke they absolutely shined as a couple. One being originally from Germany, and the other Chicago, they managed to settle down in DC and start their lives together. They had finally decided to get married and started planning for a beautiful wedding. Their dream venue was a mountainous vineyard overlooking the Shenandoah Mountains. Unfortunately, Covid had other ideas. No one knows when this pandemic will be behind us so these two decides to have a lovely wedding in their home this past August. Half of these images are in their wedding attire so they can have something to remember from their wedding as they didn’t have a photographer there for the in-home ceremony 7 weeks ago. The second half of the session was in their more casual clothing to make sure we get their bubbly personalities in the images! These are the clients that get the absolute most out of their sessions – – – the ones who are head over heels in love. It makes me not want to stop shooting!
The venue was absolutely breathtaking. I cannot get over how fairy-tale like this session was. The Inn at Perry Cabin was one of the best (if not the best) photo locations I’ve ever been to. The grounds had insane amounts of gorgeous locations that got us AMAZING variety in the portraits. From wooded archways to stunning gardens and beautiful waterfronts they did not disappoint! I can’t wait to book another session here.
I hope you all enjoy this gallery as much as I do!
